Don’t Shoot Me Santa – The Killers
Ever so often an indie band likes to release a Christmas related single to get involved with the festive celebrations. On the 27th November 2007, the indie band The Killers released the single Don’t Shoot Me Santa. The single was produced by Stuart Price, Alan Moulder and Flood and was released Label Island.
This song however was not just your standard single, a portion of the money raised by the single went towards the AIDs charities as part of the Product Red Campaign. It was also the Second Christmas the band released, the one before was called A Great Big Sled.
The single did relatively ok in the charts and went to number 8 in the billboard. 34 in the UK single charts and 23 in the Canadian charts with 49 in Ireland.
