Cops And Robbers – The Hosiers
Today we are heading to the mid-noughties to re-visit a track that you may not remember but the band’s other songs you may remember as they were really catchy. Cops and Robbers was released by the band The Hoosiers on the 21st April 2008. The track was written by the band and produced by Toby Smith. The track as also released under the record label of RCA.
The track was the fourth single off of their debut album which was called The Trick To Life. Before the track was officially released as a single it was made available as a download via the album. People have noted that the single sounds familiar to the Lovecats by The Cure.
The singles before this one did really well in the charts, however, this one was not as successful. Cops and Robbers went to number 24 in the UK Charts and number 30 in the Scotland charts.
I used to like this song, it was catchy but I agree that it wasn’t as addictive as their other songs such as Worried About Ray and Goodbye Mr Ray.
