• If you put the dropped hints and clues together, Charles and Buddy went to Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J.
• Sandra Kerns role only appeared in 38 episodes of the series in the four seasons between 1987 and 1990. Most of Kerns appearances were in season two and three. Kerns would only make four appearances in the series during its last two seasons.
