Viva La Radio – Lolly
Today we are heading back to the late nineties to discuss the debut single of popstar Anna Kumble, who you will know better as Lolly. Viva La Radio was released on the 28th June 1999, it was written by the Dufflebag boys and mixed by Dean Murphy. The single was released under the record label of Polydor. Viva La Radio was the first single to be released from Lolly’s debut single My First Album.
For a debut single, it did relatively well in the UK charts and went into number 7. I remember this song and it was very much in the style of the bubblegum pop that was an emerging genre that was popular at the time. It was one of those songs that would get stuck in your head.
