Welcome to a sister article to In The Games Corner that is about computer games but with a different spin. I have been playing computer games from a very young age and I find that some games when I think of them are attached to very strong memories. So, I thought it would be fun to share memories that I have attached to some of these games as there are a few. I wanted to call this feature Memory Card because a lot of my memories that i have strongly are around the Playstation 1 and there will be a few around that particular card. Today we take a look at Arkham Asylum
One of the first games I bought for the Playstation 3 was Batman, I had heard good things about it and I was eager to try it. The first one that I played was Arkham City and from that one game I was hooked. Today we are not going to be talking about that one, instead we are going back to the first game in the series that I actually bought second but completed first – Arkham Asylum.
I really liked the concept of this game because Arkham Asylum is somewhere you hear spoken about all the time but do not really get to ‘explore it’ and I love the fact that in this game it is all about this.
I love the way that you can really explore the grounds of the Asylum. I adore the way it is now like an adventure game. I have always enjoyed the relationship between Batman and the Joker and the fact that you get to see this in a light where the Joker feels like he is in control and that is what makes it very fun.
The game has a lot of fighting in it but it is an enjoyable sort of battle and some of the graphics along the way are amazing. I really enjoy the fact that there are twist and turns that make it a fantastic narrative. It is one of those games that I would really recommend if you want a great story with lots of action.
