Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.

FRIED ZUCCHINI

Today we are going to look at a side that is available at a American Fast Food Chain in the US called Carl’s Jr. The restaurant chain has been around since the 1940s and these days can be found in many places in the United States as they have over 3,500 locations. The restaurant is known for it’s burgers, chicken, sandwiches and much more. Today we are going to have a look at one of their sides and that is Fried Zucchini.

Fried Zucchini is a popular side available at the restaurant and can be purchased for $3.19, the zucchini (courgette) comes as bite sized pieces and is covered in a secret recipe breadcrumb and then deep fried. The Fried Zucchini is served to you with a side of ranch dressing, however some people online say you have to sometimes ask for it.

There are mixed reviews on the Fried Zucchini online, some people really like it where as others are not really a fan. Some people find that the ranch dressing that goes along with it is very tangy. Some people online say though that they are much better then the fries that are available.
