Over the last few weeks, we have been looking at different aspects of cruise life and I thought today I would discuss some key points that may help you enjoy life more on a cruise.
Changing Money On Board
I would highly recommend changing your currency of money before you go on board the cruise ship as the exchange rate is usually pretty poor on the boat and you will be able to get better elsewhere. It may even pay for you to use a cashpoint at the port of call.
Wake Up Early
If you are going somewhere like the Fjords of Norway or somewhere else that is scenic then be sure to wake up early and head to the top deck on the days you are heading to port. The views can be breath taking and you do not want to miss them on the way in.
Don’t Feel Pressured
On the ship there are themed nights such as black tie where everyone dresses up in really formal attire. However, don’t feel pressured into doing them if you don’t want to. You may have to have dinner somewhere that isn’t the main room as that is where the main event happens We have never participated as it wasn’t our thing and never felt pressured to do so.
