Dumb – The 411
Today we are going to look at a single that was released by the British R&B group The 411. Dumb was released on the 23rd August 2004, it was written by the band, Joshua Thompson and Gandalf Roudette-Mushcamp. The track was released under the record label of Sony Music UK and Streetside. It was a track that was released off The 411’s debut album that was called Between The Sheets.
The single did well in the UK charts and went in at number 3 in the singles and number 1 in the R&B chart. In the year end UK charts it landed the number 64 position. Dumb was also the theme song for the German version of Sex and the City.
This is a song that when you hear it you will instantly recognise it as it was a song that had a lot of radio time. It is one of those tracks that you may of heard on a lot of television shows as well but may not recognise it until you hear the chorus.
