Uh La La La – Alexia
Today we are going to look at a track that was part of the Europop trend in the nineties. Uh La La La was a single released by Italian singer Alexia which was released on the 16th June 1997. It was written by Roberto Zanetti (who is known as stage name Savage) and Alessia Aquilani, it was produced by Roberto Zanetti as well. It was the fourth single from Alexia’s debut album that was called Fan Club. It was a song that was a hit of the summer and lead to the artist being an international success. Before it was released in the United Kingdom it was remixed to give it a fresh version.
The track was welcomed with a lot of high praise with people saying it was infectious and really catchy for the summer. It did really well in the charts and went into the top 10 in Austria (6), Finland (2), Ireland (5), Italy (5), Scotland (9) Spain (1), Sweden (5) and the United Kingdom (10).
