Listed! – This Week – Favourite Scents

Welcome to the feature where every fortnight we will explore different topics that are listed in the book A List A Day by Paperchase. They range from food, music and travel to really random topics so I thought it wold be a fun one to talk about throughout the year!

Today’s Topic- Favourite Scents

Everyone has smells that they like the most and today I am going to be talking about some of the scents that I love. I think a smell is a great one if if makes you happy or takes you to a certain memory, time or place.

I absolutely love the smell of vanilla, I don’t know why but every time I smell it, the scent makes me happy. I love it as a vanilla pod, candle or even as cooking ingredient, it has a wonderful smell that is sweet and sort of creamy and just makes everything lovely.

If there is one thing that really highlights the smell of spring then it is none other than this wonderful flower. I love daffodils I think they are one of my favourite flowers as they are just so happy and they smell wonderful, well until they die and then they smell awful! As soon as spring hits I am down that shop buying these flowers and they will always be around me in spring.

Lancome – La Vie Est Belle En Rose

I only came across this perfume for the first time the other month when I got a free sample of it with something and I instantly fell in love with the smell. It is such a glorious scent to this perfume and it has this wonderful sweetness to it. I have now gone onto actually buy a bottle and use it on a regular basis and it always makes me happy.

This may sound like a weird one but you walk into a place and someone is cooking garlic and I dare you to not tell me that you are not hungry and excited to see what is being served.
