• The show was canceled in 1999. Shawn and Marlon Wayans went on to make Scary Movie a year later. At the climax of Scary Movie, Shawn’s character seems to break the fourth wall by emotionally stating “The Wayan’s Brothers was a good ass show! And we didn’t even get a final episode!”
• Throughout the entire series the brother’s mother has been only mentioned and never seen on the show.
• Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans and John Witherspoon are the only cast members to appear in every episode of the series.
• The brothers are a year apart in real life. Shawn (b.1971) and Marlon (b. 1972)
