Drive By – Train
Today we look at a track that was very popular in the United Kingdom and was the bands third top 10 hit in the United States. Drive By was released by the American Pop Rock band Train on the 10th January 2012. The single was written by Pat Monahan, Espen Lind and Amund Bjørklund. The single was released under the record label of Columbia and Syco and was off of the sixth album of Train that was called California 37.
The song did really well in the charts in the United States and it went to number 10 in the Billboard Hot 100, it also led to becoming 4x Platinum as well. Drive By did really well internationally as well and went into the top 10 in many countries including Austria (4), Germany (3), New Zealand (3), Slovakia (2) and the United Kingdom (6) to name a small handful.
This song was a really catchy track and I remember it sort of appeared one day and that is how I came across it. The song is really catchy and when you listen to it you get the chorus stuck in your head.
