Trivia
- American adaptation of BBC sitcom Miranda (2009), created by and starring Miranda Hart, itself an adaptation of Hart’s BBC Radio series “Miranda Hart’s Joke Shop.”
- In the original script for the pilot, Phil was a woman named Phyllis. After auditioning several women for the part and finding no one who was right for the role, the network recommended Leslie Jordan. He auditioned and won everyone over, so the part was rewritten as a man.
- Each show ends with the main cast and guest actors coming out on stage at the conclusion of the last scene, much like when actors in a play take a bow at the end.
- All episodes open with Kat breaking the fourth wall and talking to us about her goings-on in life and such.
