COSMIC BROWNIES CEREAL
If there is one thing that the USA can do well and that is combine sweet treats with cereal to make a brand new breakfast experience. In April of this year, Kellogs introduced a brand new cereal to their list, welcome to the world of Cosmic Brownies Cereal!
Before we go into details about the new cereal, lets actually explore where the idea for this product actually came from. In the States there is a snack called a Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies – in each packet there are two brownies that are topped with fudge icing and chocolate pieces that are covered in a sweet candy shell and filled with rainbow coloured pieces. These originally came out in 1999 and are still a hit with many people today.
The Cosmic Brownies Cereal was officially released in May this year and consisted of crispy squares that reflected the taste of the original product. The cereal could be bought for $3.99 for an 8.3 ounce box or $5.69 for a 13.2 ounce box.
There has been a lot of mixed reviews online in regards to the cereal with some liking the nostalgic hit that they bring but others didn’t think the flavour was that unique.
