If you are part of the improv scene around London then you may already know the name Rhiannon Jenkins as she is part of Acaprov, The Ol BIl, Eggplant Improv and even used to be part of the Improbotics. She also teaches some great courses including The Vocal Technique Course and Nursery on Death, Dying, and Bereavement for The Nursery. This week we finish off our interview with Rhiannin with a good ol fashioned quick fire round.
If you could have any three people (dead or alive) over for dinner – who would they be?
My Grandad, Judy Garland, Alan Rickman
What’s the best pizza topping?
Quattro Stagioni; ham, mushroom, artichokes, black olives. I will fight anyone who disagrees.
Do you have any pets?
No, but I wish I did!
If you could be from any other decade (or era), which would it be??
Sometime in the future. The moral arc of the universe is long, but it bends towards justice; no chance would I want to go back in time and be burned as a witch for being left-handed or some other shit.
If you had to have a tattoo to represent improv, what would you have and why?
I have joked a lot that I’d get a Nursery leaf on my arse. So maybe that, to follow through on the bit?
What’s on your music playlists right now?
The Hadestown Soundtrack, The Lasters (I am a Fred Deakin fangirl), 80s Bangerz, The Indigo Girls, and Fleetwood Mac.
Who would play you in the movie of your life?
Emmy award-winning character actress Margo Martindale.
If you had one superpower, what would it be?
