In the time of lockdown, a lot of comedians have turned their hand to writing and right at the top of this second book by Romesh Ranganathan he discusses this – yes, this is a book written in the pandemic and whilst there is a chapter about the lockdown (which you can easily skip if you desire) this is a book that is sure to give you a laugh and enjoyment.
As Good As It Gets: Life Lessons from a Reluctant Adult is the second book and this time it is not autobiographical instead it looks at different topics and talks about them. Ok, so Romesh talks about his experiences with different subjects but it is very different to Straight Outta Crawley . There are so many topics that this book covers including everything from holidays to friends, to computer games and dancing.
The book has recently come out in paperback and I would recommend this book if you are looking for something you can dip in and out of. It is sort of like loads of little essays put together into different chapters and written in a very fun way.
It is a book that is both easy and fun to read with lots of laughter along the way.
