Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
KELLOG’S YOGOS BITS
Today we look at a product that was discontinued and even though they are not around anymore there are many petitions online to try and bring them back to the shelves. Kellog’s YoGos Bits was apparently a very popular snack in the early 2000’s
Kellog’s YoGos Bits was a snack that had chewy centres that were covered with a yoghurt coating that apparently tasted creamy and were also very colourful. There were many different flavours that were available including Strawberry, Crazy Berry and Berry Berry Banana. The YoGos Bits were apparently a good source of calcium and apparently had a lot of Vitamin C in them as well. Each packet of the snack was 80 calories according to websites online.
There are many petitions online to try and bring them back and people have even reached out to the Twitter page of Kellog’s asking when they are returning. There is no news as to whether they will, but fans still wish in hope.
