Today’s List: The Funniest Jokes

I love comedy and I sometimes watch too much of it, however, if you ask me what my favourite joke was, I do not think I could just point out one that I love because to me it is not just about one joke, it is about the experience. I think there are some stand up comedians that bring so many parts of their sets to life that is not just about the one joke that makes you laugh but everything as a whole. So today, I wanted to look at a couple of comedians that always make me laugh and it doesn’t matter how many times I watch these shows they always make me laugh.

Lee Evans

I have watched all of his stand up shows and routines so many times that it doesn’t matter how many times that I hear any of the jokes they always make me laugh out loud every time. There isn’t a specific joke it is just the way that they are told, I love Lees energy on stage and the was that he presents his jokes about animals and his wife specifically. They are just hilarious and full of character.

Rhod Gilbert

He is another comedian that I can listen to his stand up over and over again and not get bored at all and laugh in the same places all the time. I have listened to his stand up show The Award Winning Mince Pie so many times and even though it has a long narrative that comes full circle it always makes me laugh so much. He is a very unique storyteller and can really keep an audience engaged.

Joe Pasquale

I don’t listen or feel like this anymore but when I was a kid I loved Joe and watched the VHS we had of him on repeat. I think he was the first comedian I ever saw and remember being upset as all his material on the stage show was pretty much the same as the show I had on tape. I used to think he was so hilarious and my favourite scenes I remember are a skit with candles and one with a bucket head.
