Welcome to a new sister article to In The Games Corner that is about computer games but with a different spin. I have been playing computer games from a very young age and I find that some games when I think of them are attached to very strong memories. So, I thought it would be fun to share memories that I have attached to some of these games as there are a few. I wanted to call this feature Memory Card because a lot of my memories that i have strongly are around the Playstation 1 and there will be a few around that particular card. Today we take a look at Vader Immortal Episode 1
The world of Virtual Reality has always fascinated me and for Christmas we bought the Oculus 2 to see what all the fuss was about. It was really weird to get used it, everything felt so weird and surreal and it took a while to get used to moving and interacting with a virtual world. One of the first games that I tried was Vader Immortal and it really threw me into the experience.
I remember the first time I played it, the game freaked me out, as soon as the imperial troopers start to walk up to you and Darth Vader it feels very weird and I didn’t like how close they got and how much taller they are then you. The first time Darth Vader came on screen I literally took the headset off and took a few minutes to get my act together as it felt weird.
I am glad I ended up deciding to play this game after getting my act back together as it really was unique. I had already played a few games and things on the headset but nothing this in depth. It is such a great concept and it is really immersive and something completely different to what you expect.
The thing I liked about the game is the way that you interact with the characters and automatically are thrown into the centre of the action. It feels like you have fallen into a Star Wars film and the graphics are amazing, there are more then one time when I felt I was moving with the vessels and space ships I was on.
I would say if you want to experience VR then buy this game, it made me feel all different sorts of emotions and then blew me away with its graphics and playability.
