In The Games Corner – MEMORY CARD EDITION – Minion Rush

Welcome to a new sister article to In The Games Corner that is about computer games but with a different spin. I have been playing computer games from a very young age and I find that some games when I think of them are attached to very strong memories. So, I thought it would be fun to share memories that I have attached to some of these games as there are a few. I wanted to call this feature Memory Card because a lot of my memories that i have strongly are around the Playstation 1 and there will be a few around that particular card. Today we take a look at Minion Rush.

The running app game is a thing that became originally really famous due to games such as Temple Run. The main concept was to basically move your finger left and right to avoid obstacles that are coming towards you and you lift it upwards to jump as well. This has lead to so many different games that have been released that use the same concept and just work on the different themes.

Minion Rush works on the same sort of concept of Temple Run, instead in this one you work as different Minion’s to help out Gru. Each of the levels is based on each of the different locations that you see in the films and they get updated when there is a new film with brand new levels. There are many different tasks that you have to do in the levels include collecting a certain amount of bananas, running a certain distance and even fighting bad guys.

I have never really enjoyed these sort of games but because I am a fan of Minions and Despicable Me so I decided to give this game a chance. I started to like this mobile app because I knew the characters and that meant it had another level of fun to it. The game didn’t feel repetitive because there was always something new to look forward to, there are so many different challenges and weekly competitions that it makes it exciting.

The one thing that I really like about Minion Rush is that you can save up your Bananas to buy things such as new minions with different outfits that have different characters and abilities.

When I first got this game I used to play it quite a lot but as time went on I ended up forgetting about it like all games. However, saying that I always did in and out of it when I can and still enjoy it.
