Tell us about:
Your latest single you have released:
Our last single was a pop punk overhaul of the classic ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ by Cyndi Lauper. We recorded it with Seb Barlow from Neck Deep it was an amazing experience.
Our latest single is ‘Better Late Than Never’ it’s a high energy feelgood song about being your own worst enemy, we recorded it at our go to studio Foxhound with our Guru Mike Bennet. It’s got a catchy chorus, slick riffs and an angsty overtone with the vocals. It’s a bopper for sure.
Your first single and how you felt when it was released:
‘Please Guy’ was our first ever single. it was amazing to release it and it always gets a killer response, if we’re playing live or just showing you the songs. It’s got a bit of everything we do in there to so it’s a good place to start if you’re just finding us.
Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:
When we get round to doing the album, I’d say the new single ‘Better Late Than Never’ needs a good spot on it i love that song!
Your favourite song to play live:
It’s been ‘Please Guy’ or ‘Worth the Weight’ for ages, you can always hear the crowd singing them back word for word. But once we’re gigging again the new material is going to blow the fans away.
Your most emotional track:
From our released stuff I’d say ‘The Drip’ from our last E.P it’s Kinda of upbeat but it’s about dealing with anxiety and coming out stronger. But one of our upcoming singles after ‘BLTN’ is the most open we’ve ever been putting pen to paper.
The best lyric you have ever written:
‘Although I’m always broke, I’m not broken’ from ‘Worth the Weight’ it just rings true.
Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:
excited, nervous and focused its like nothing else in the world.
The hardest track to play live:
‘Please Guy’ if Ash guff’s the start up its game over Haha.
Essential items you always take on tour with you?
Rum and Socks! You can never have enough socks and rum! You’d be surprised how wet the inside of the bus gets when it’s raining.
Describe your fans in three words:
A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:
The happy birthday song, could you imagine the royalties that dude gets?
What we can look forward to from your band this year:
This year will hopefully be a year of singles and music videos, we’re upping our blog game and doing whatever we can to connect to then fans while we can’t play live shows
