Forgotten Songs! – This Week – All Or Nothing

There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

All or Nothing – O-Town

Today we look at a single that was released by an American boy band that was formed through the reality television series called Making The Band in 2000. All or Nothing was released the 10th July 2001, it was written by Steve Mac and Wayne Hector and released under the record label of J and BMG. The track was the second single to be released from their debut album O-Town.

The track did well in the charts and went into the top 10 in Austria (5), Canada (5) Ireland (4) Switzerland (9) the UK (4) and the US where it went in at number one into the US Mainstream Top 40.

Now, this song may sound familiar to you and that is because a few years later, in 2006 Westlife recorded a cover version of this track. that is part of their seventh album called The Love Album. Apparently the song was originally offered to Westlife but they rejected it and it was passed onto O-Town. If you watch the X-Factor around this time then you would of heard the Westlife version a lot.
