When you think of Dunkin’ Donuts you more then likely have coffee of donuts spring to mind, Well, in 2019, the chain decided to do something a bit different and introduce a healthy breakfast option to its menu. The healthy breakfast bowls were announced around the 30th April 2019 and there was two options available – the Egg White Bowl and the Sausage Scramble Bowl.

The Egg White Bowl was 14 grams of protein and 250 calories, The bowl consisted of egg whites, spinach, roasted potatoes, cheddar cheese and caramalised onions. The Sausage Scramble bowl is a heartier breakfast with 21 grams of protein and 450 calories. For this one it is scrambled eggs, sausage, cheddar jack cheese, peppers and onions.

There has been mixed reviews as to whether these items could be classed as ‘healthy’ but they make the point that it is healthier then other items on the menu. The products were available for a limited time.
