Perfect

This is the first track on the Ep and it is this folk acoustic song that is melodic and calming that allows you to be welcomed into the world of Ryan Montebleu. The song is a track that gradually builds musically and it is really nice to hear the drums and beat gradually come in as it allows you to really appreciate Ryan’s voice for the first part of the track. The song feels quite personal and you feel like you are being brought into this special world as it feels like it is from the heart.

Ankles

The more you listen to this EP, the more personal the album sounds and this track again opens with lyrics that make you feel like you are entering the thoughts and emotions of Ryan. It is a track that has bold acoustic melodies intertwined with these light drum beats that feel a bit like a heart beat that creates this feeling to the track that again makes it very personal feeling. Near the end of the track there are some really fun guitar melodies that intertwine through the sounds to create this unique and uplifting sound.

Outside Looking In

This is the last track on the EP and it has a real chilled out feeling to it whilst also emphasising the emotions. Whilst the acoustic guitar takes centre stage this one also allows the other instruments such as the piano to be the star of the show. Whilst this song is still folk, it has a real elements of country and blues to create this really emotional piece.
