BAGEL ICE CREAM
Today we are looking at the world of ice cream, we have looked at a number of different flavours on this site and today we look at one of the more unique ones- Bagel Ice cream. In 2021 the American based ice cream company Jenis announced that they were releasing a brand new flavour called Bagel Ice cream.
Jenis was founded in Columbus in Ohio in 2002 and since then they have created lots of fun and unique flavours and even have around 50 scoop shops across the country.
The new ice cream was called Everthing Bagel. The product is ‘buttery’ streusal laden with sesame and poppy seeds. The ice cream also has onions and garlic intertwined throughout with the cream cheese ice cream.
The pint of ice cream could be bought on the Jenis online store for $12 it could also be bought in grocery stores where the brand is available. The ice cream sold out pretty much straight away online.
The ice cream has positive reviews online however it is better eaten as a savoury product. The only criticism some people had was that they wanted more crunch and the garlic was overpowering at first.
