SHAKE SHACK PIZZA BURGER

We live in a world where remixing fast food products is the norm and today we will be looking at a product that was released by Shake Shack last year. In August of 2020, it was announced that Shake Shack and New York City Pizzeria Mama’s TOO were joining up to create a collaboration meal.

There are two things to point out about this, firstly it’s not the first pizza burger that the brand has done and this particular collaboration only lasted for a day – yes you heard that correctly it was only for one day.

The burger which was named the Mama’s TOO! was a double cheeseburger which was topped with stracciatello cheese, spicy tomato sauce, crispy garlic and bitter greens. The bun was a homemade focaccia bread flavoured with parmesan, mozzarella and rosemary.

The pizza burger was available from 11am on the 27th August last year and cost $10.49. To promote the app, it was only available through that to order it.
