Tell us about:
Your latest single you have released:
Never Enough. It’s a real toe-tapper, very groovy. Inspired by early 80’s Clash and Blondie.
Your first single and how you felt when it was released:
Suffocation Blues. I was stoked and thought it was going to be big. It took a while, but it’s our most streamed song and has been in a bunch of movies.
Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:
Beyond the Blue. A really cool vibe. A slow groove, but it explodes at the end!
Your favourite song to play live:
Bully. We finished gigs with it these last few years, it’s the perfect balance of quiet and loud.
Your most emotional track:
Fever Breaks. It makes me tear up.
The best lyric you have ever written:
‘The’
Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:
Wanting to throw up from nerves and also sprint a mile out of pure adrenaline and excitement. A massive juxtaposition of feelings, but that’s how it is.
The hardest track to play live:
Run Rabbit Run, just because it’s usually 8-10 minutes and quite energetic.
Essential items you always take on tour with you?
Pen, notebook, a graphic novel or biography, OTC medications, SOCKS, and SOCKS, and SOCKS!
Describe your fans in three words:
A rad crew!
A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:
Fake Tales of San Francisco.
What we can look forward to from your band this year:
The new album, Look Alive is out now! We’ll be making a concert film and hopefully, at some point, be able to play gigs again!
