Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
Today we look at a product that was on the market from 2003 – 2006 and was manufactured by The Hershey Company. Swoops were a product sort of shaped like a Pringle but covered in chocolate and a flavour depending on what version of the snack you purchased.
On the Reese Swoops there was a squiggle of peanut butter on the top. Each of the packets had 18 Swoops inside but they were sealed in packs of six inside so that you have three separate snacks inside. The packet could be purchased for $1.50 in many supermarkets.
There is mixed reviews online as to whether they tasted any good and a lot of the reviews I have read thought the idea was a bit strange. Some praised the taste and others preferred other flavours that were available.
