Baby Cakes – 3 Of A Kind

Today we look at a track that was the only release by the British Garage band. Baby Cakes was a single by 3 Of A Kind it was released on the 9th August 2004. The single was apparently inspired by the 1989 American made for TV movie also called Baby Cakes.

The song was written by Liana Caniana, Nicholas Gallamte and Marc Portelli. It was released under the record label of Relentless. The track went to number 1 in the United Kingdom and Number 3 in Ireland.

At the end of 2004 it was number 12 in the year end chart and received gold certification. It was a track that was always on when you turned on the the radio or music shows and it had a sound to it that when you heard it the melody would get stuck in your head.
