There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them on cheesy countdowns run by music channels over Christmas if you are lucky.

Kickstarts – Example

The aim of this article is not just write about one hit wonders or pop artists that were not around for very long, it is also about celebrating songs that were really catchy and addictive but sadly due to the influx of music that is released now it gets lost in the mix.

Kickstarts was a single released by singer, songwriter Example. It was released on the 13th June 2010 and was released under the record label of Data. The song started as a digital download and was released as a physical download a day later. The song was produced by drum and bass musician Sub Focus.

The single did really well in the UK charts and debuted at number 3. The song also went into the top 20 in many countries including Slovakia (12) Belgium (4) New Zealand (12) Ireland (8) and Czech Republic (9). In the end of year charts in the UK it positioned in 44 for most played song.

I liked this song, it had a lot of addictive melodies and a really fun bassline. It was song that had an uplifting feel to it and really reeled you in. Even 10 years later this is really catchy and I can’t believe I forgot about it.
