This month we are celebrating comedy and the act at the forefront is improv act Swipe Right. This year they were meant to be performing their very first Camden Fringe as well as holding their annual Summer Fling extravaganza but due to the pandemic that has been put on hold. So to make up for not being able to perform we decided to interview them to find out all about the act! So we have a huge interview with the troupe going out this month! Today we talk to Robin in a quick fire round of questions

If you could be any animal what would it be and why?
An eagle, for the whole flying thing.
Who is your favorite super hero and why?
Ant-Man, for the whole minituarisation thing.
If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?
I’m going for kitchen sink drama, because it’s not been like that but seeing it like that would be funny and interesting to some degree. And so I guess I should say young Albert Finney?
If you could go any where in the world where would you go and why?
Easy, Antarctica – because it’s extraordinary.
What would you do with your “15 minutes” of fame?
Experience as many talk shows as possible.
What is one item you could NEVER live without?
Toothbrush? Or mouthwash, at least. A notebook and pen combo probably, in the long term, if I could get used to the bad breath.
Last time you laughed very hard out loud?
During a Dingbats improv drop in, at the line “Diamonds are forever, sausages are mine.”
What is your favorite movie quote?
I watched The Princess Bride again recently and I enjoyed it, despite the gender attitudes I didn’t really notice the first time around and couldn’t put entirely down to genre. Still, the hairs prick up on the back of my neck to this: “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” It’s the hello that really does it.
