Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.

CAFE MOCHA M&MS

One thing that M&Ms are great at doing is releasing unique flavours in America, especially in the shop Target. One of the flavours that they released in 2015 was Mocha flavour. This flavour was released as a seasonal theme alongside other flavours such as Pumpkin Spice Latte and Peppermint White Chocolate. You could purcahse this flavour for $3 for 8 ounces.
The M&Ms candies are coloured red and green, which is perfect as they were released at Christmas. The ‘mocha’ flavour is present in the actual chocolate not the shell. According to reviews the coffee taste in the sweets do not some out until you start eating it. Others say that the coffee taste doesn’t really come through so you can mistake them for just normal M&Ms.
The reviews are really mixed for this particular flavour and some say they are an impulsive buy and that they are a huge disappointment. People also mention that the bag doesn’t smell of coffee which some were upset by.
