Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
ARBYS ORANGE CREAM SODA
Today we look at a drink that was released in 2020 at the chain Arby’s for a limited time. Arby’s is a restaurant in the USA that has more then 3,000 locations including Alaska, Kentucky, Maryland, Idaho, Hawaii and Texas just to name a few. Their headquarters is based in Atlanta Georgia. They are known as one of the largest sandwich chains in America.
It was announced in April of 2020 that the restaurant was to bring back one of their loved milkshakes for a limited time over the summer months. The orange Cream Shake is apparently inspired by orange cream ice cream bars.
The milkshake version at Arby’s consists of a vanilla shake base that is mixed with orange cream syrup and then topped with whipped cream. The milkshake comes in three different sizes – small (530 calories), medium (750 calories) and large (950 calories).
I cannot find reviews of the new product but if the 2016 reviews are anything to go by, a lot of people are going to be excited to see it’s return.
