Media Madness!

Media Madness – This Week – Let’s Talk TV

Due to the popularity of Question Roulette the past few years, I thought it was time to jump to another book with lots of questions. This time the book is called Music Madness Mayhem – the book covers everything from film, television, music, and much more! So every week we will be covering questions from the book until we run out! I am not going to number them this time as I am going to be doing the book in a random order!

Topic of the week – Let’s Talk TV

I enjoy watching television as a form of escapism – I enjoy the fact that since the introduction of streaming platforms it allows you to be in control of what you watch and when you watch it. This means that you are not forced to just make do which means you can truly appreciate what you do watch and when you decide to chill out. So here are a few topics about television.

Comedy – I think this website has proved that I love comedy and I watch a lot of it. I enjoy watching sitcoms mostly in this category but I do enjoy watching panel shows and live shows when I am in the mood for it.

Food – Ok, I am not sure if this is defined as a genre but I want to include it because I watch a lot of cookery shows. If I have the television on in the background you can guarantee that the Food Network is going to be on. I find cooking both educational and relaxing, Whether it is a cooking show like Jamie Oliver, Rick Stein, Hairy Bikers to things like Come Dine With Me, Hell’s Kitchen or Sugar Rush – I love food shows.

Ant and Dec – Whether you like them or not – Ant and Dec are very good at presenting. They make silly jokes, have huge energy and really connect with the audience. I don’t watch many shows that they host but when I do they make me laugh.

Conan – I obviously live in the UK but I do watch Conan show clips on Youtube and have also watched Conan Without Borders. Conan just has a way with people and feeds off the audiences energy, I think he is underrated.

Most Fascinating

Documentaries – I think out of anything that you have on television, Documentaries are one of the most fascinating genres. I love topics on adventure, geography, and learning something new.
