When you go to the coast, you sometimes want to visit a location were you can walk along the seafront and be welcomed to a wonderful view at every turn. Broadstairs is located in Kent on the Isle of Thanet. The resort is located between Margate and Ramsgate and is known as the ‘jewel in the Thanets Crown.’
Around Broadstairs, there are seven bays of golden sands including Joss Bay, Louisa Bay and Viking Bay. The town is home to many attractions including Dickens House Museum, Kent Surf School, Crampton Tower Museum and Broadstairs bandstand that has a lot of live music usually in the Summer. Throughout the year it is home to many festivals including Blues Bash, Broadstairs Folk Week and the Food Festival.
I went to Broadstairs as a day trip, when we got there we spent the say walking along the coast. I can’t remember much about the town but I loved the coast. Each and every turn of the coastal path has something new and exciting to reveal.
