Media Madness! – This Week – High Scores

Due to the popularity of Question Roulette the past few years, I thought it was time to jump to another book with lots of questions. This time the book is called Music Madness Mayhem – the book covers everything from film, television, music, and much more! So every week we will be covering questions from the book until we run out! I am not going to number them this time as I am going to be doing the book in a random order!

Topic of the week – High Scores

I have been playing computer games for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed them whilst also being completely fascinated at the same time. I remember watching my mum for example play Echo The Dolphin on the Sega Megadrive when I was a kid and it was so fun to watch it. I played a lot of games as well but I get pleasure and enjoyment from watching others venturing though a gaming experience as well. Echo the Dolphin was a suoer hard game but I loved watching the effects and the adventure under the sea.

I have played many games for the enjoyment however there are a handful that are more about the high scores, these are four games that this has mattered.

1) Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4

Tony Hawk Games are always fun to play and getting a high score is part of the game, it is always fun to see how high you can get in a challenge of skill points. At uni, one of my housemates was also a huge fan of the games and we decided to compete in multiplayer. We were both so good at the games that we were both stuck in balancing manual combos that were worth hundreds of thousands of points for about 30 minutes until one of us bailed.

Crash Bandicoot Warped

This is one of my all time favourite games and I have spent so many hours on this game. With the Playstation 4 revamp it means that I am back playing it a lot with the aim to complete. It is such a good game and also super addictive, I would say out of all the computer games that I have played I would say this one was had the most game time.

Lego Avengers

There is no better satisfaction then getting 100% on a game, especially one that is really huge. I love Lego games but this is one of my favourites as it is so fun and really depicts the Avengers in such a fun way. This game is addictive and I spent a lot of weekends getting 100% on this game as I really was desperate to complete it.

Jelly Splash

If there is one sort of computer game where high scores truly matter then it is the mobile phone app. I really like Jelly Splash and have had the game running since 2013. I remember the year I started playing this game because I used to play it everyday on the way to work. It is really addictive trying to get 3 stars and will sit there sometimes for ages to complete the old levels.
