There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them on cheesy countdowns run by music channels over Christmas if you are lucky.
So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.
She’s Got Me Dancing – Tommy Sparks
Today we look at a song that was around a lot before the turn of the 2010’s and was featured on a variety of adverts including a Playstation 3 game called Eyebot and the iPod Touch.
She’s Got Me Dancing was released by musician Tommy Sparks on the 4th May 2009, it was released under the record label Island Records and was written by the musician as well. The single was the second song to come off the album that was called Tommy Sparks.
The song She’s Got Me Dancing entered the UK Charts on the 10th May 2009 and went into it at number 22. Whilst it may not of gone higher in the charts in the UK, it was one of those songs that you heard a lot of in 2009.
Hearing the song now, I feel the same way about it as I did back then. It is one of those songs that you an listen to and then sort of forget about. It reminds me of television shows and adverts. The first part of the song was used so much in these situations it is hard not to think of them.
