- Matt Berry asked Adam Savage of MythBusters and Tested fame to create Rabbit’s truncheon. Adam did this whilst the show was under it’s working title ‘Rabbit Run’ as one of his ‘One Day Builds’ on his Tested Youtube channel.
- On Tuesday, 11th February 2020, Channel 4 Television announced that it has commissioned a 6-episode second series of the Victorian-era-set comedy to be filmed and broadcast in 2020.
- Year of the Rabbit, which debuted on TV in 2019, is actually released in the year of the pig according to the Chinese zodiac.
