Media Madness – This Week – Computer Games

Due to the popularity of Question Roulette the past few years, I thought it was time to jump to another book with lots of questions. This time the book is called Music Madness Mayhem – the book covers everything from film, television, music, and much more! So every week we will be covering questions from the book until we run out! I am not going to number them this time as I am going to be doing the book in a random order!

Topic of the week – Computer Games

I was introduced to Computer games at a very early age and remember playing Sega, I can’t remember an exact age but I remember Mario, a car racing game and Kirby. I have always loved gaming, maybe because I am an only child that it was great entertainment and we used to have family gaming nights too. So here are a few games that today I wanted to write about.

All Time Classics

Crash Bandicoot

For me, Crash is the ultimate classic computer game it doesn’t matter how many times you play it, you just don’t get bored. I love the characters as they are so defined and every one of them is great fun. All the games are really good fun although I was not a fan of Crash Bash. Our of all the games my favourite it Crash Bandicoot Warped as it is a great balance of both the older games whilst bringing a modern twist. I have played this game so much.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3

I love the Tony Hawks games and even though number 4 is my favourite I have to credit number 3 as a classic for so many reasons. It introduced me to the world of Tony Hawks and got me really interested in skateboarding. The music is also fantastic and I have to credit it as a source of finding some great bands and songs.

I mean, if you are talking about the classics you have to mention Mario. I think it was one of the first games I played and even now I adore the original. There is no other game like it and it really is a fun platform game.

Newer Releases

Back when I played PS2 alot, I bought the Spider-man game on that and couldn’t connect with it as I found it hard to control and navigate and I was worried that the 2018 version may be similar. The PS4 game is so good. It is such a good game it is addictive, super easy to interact with and i love it. I am sad I have nearly finished it.

Lego City Undercover

I bought this game on a whim and I am so glad I did. Out of all the Lego games on the PS4 I think that is is one of my favourites. It was completely unexpected and it is so much fun and also super silly. There is so much to do as well, the average Lego game has 250 gold blocks to collect, this has 450 so you tell just how big this game is!
