Welcome to a brand new feature that is going to run for this month – this April we are going to celebrate the world of Books! The last few weeks and months we have all been part of a weird world to say the least so this month we thought it would be nice to talk about something that allows you to escape even if it just for a chapter at a time. So this month we are taking on the 30 Day Book Challenge and looking at a different topic each day, enjoy!
Day 23: A Book You Wanted To Read For A Long Time But Haven’t
NAME OF BOOK: Choose Your Own Autobiography, Neil Patrick Harris
I was introduced to the book app Good Reads by my Slovenian friend and since downloading it in 2016 it has become my best friend. It is a great way to keep track of books you have read, currently reading and want to read. I use it to keep track of all the books on my reading list so when it come to finding a new book I have inspiration to refer to.
One of the books that is on my to read list has been there for such a long time is Neil Patrick Harris autobiography. I really like Neil, I think he is a really talented individual and would really like to read his book. However, I do think this book has to take effort to read – let me tell you why.
Neil’s book is set out like a Choose Your Own Adventure where you can decide which route you travel through the story. To be honest, I never really enjoyed these sort of books when I was a kid because I always wanted to know what the other outcome would lead to.
As much as I want to read Neil’s book I am preparing myself to read a book you need to interact with. Also, I am not sure if it will work really well on a Kindle, I feel I would need to buy a physical copy.
