Welcome to a brand new feature that is going to run for this month – this April we are going to celebrate the world of Books! The last few weeks and months we have all been part of a weird world to say the least so this month we thought it would be nice to talk about something that allows you to escape even if it just for a chapter at a time. So this month we are taking on the 30 Day Book Challenge and looking at a different topic each day, enjoy!
Day 17: Favourite Quote From A Book
NAME OF BOOK: The Life of Lee, Lee Evans
“People have accused me of walking about in a dream world, seeing things around me others don’t see. But, you know what, I don’t care. I’ve never liked beige…”
I read a lot of autobiographies and out of all the books that I have read, Lee Evans one is definitely one of my favourites. It is so well written, it has so much heart and the story of the struggle to become a comedian is such an engaging story. I am still hoping there will be another book at some point.
I remember when I first read this quote and found it so inspirational that I took note straight away. I use my About Me page on Facebook Page to keep note of quotes that I adore as I like to keep reference.
I really like this quote because it is really inspirational and I feel that I can relate to it, I always try and see things differently and outside the box. I don’t like seeing things the way everyone else does and I like to approach everything I do with a creative mind.
The Life Of Lee is a really great book and if you haven’t read it, I recommend you do as it is a very good insight into one of the UKs greatest comedians.
