Welcome to a brand new feature that is going to run for this month – this April we are going to celebrate the world of Books! The last few weeks and months we have all been part of a weird world to say the least so this month we thought it would be nice to talk about something that allows you to escape even if it just for a chapter at a time. So this month we are taking on the 30 Day Book Challenge and looking at a different topic each day, enjoy!
Day 13: Your Favourite Writer
NAME OF AUTHOR: Sophie Kinsella
There were many writers that I could of put on this category but I decided to choose this author. Books are a place for escapism and for me Sophie Kinsella books really do that. There is so many great books by Sophie and they really bring a strong sense of comedy along the way and a place to get out of everyday life. I love the fact that her books are well written and that they are a great balance of comedy and romance in her novels.
I think the first book I ever read by Sophie Kinsella was the Undomestic Goddess. I remember reading it and finding it pretty quirky and also very fun at the same time. I then went on to read the Shopoholic series and it has now lead to me reading any new release that she does.
Life can be rough and sometimes you need a set of books that can escape from reality with and that is something that you always want in your life. Everytime I walk away from reading a Sophie Kinsella book it makes me smile and have a strong sense of hope.
