Ain’t No Doubt – Jimmy Nail
Today we look at a single that was released by Jimmy Nail six years after his debut album; the song came about due to the success of his acting career in drama series Spender, he decided to revive his music career.
Ain’t No Doubt was released in the middle of 1992, it was written by Guy Pratt, Danny Schooger, Jimmy Nail and Charlie Dore, it was released under the record label of EastWest Records. The lyrics of the song are focussed on the world of relationships that are failing and the difference between how a male and female see how a situation is happening.
The single was actually Jimmy Nails best selling song and it reached number 1 in both Ireland and the United Kingdom. It also did really well in other countries where it went into the top 10 in Australia, New Zealand and even Sweden. It became such a success that it became the only song of his that made it into the charts in North America.
