GENDER REVEAL LASAGNA

I am not sure how I feel about gender reveal parties at the best of time but I think this may be taking it too far.  Today we visit the Pizza chain called Italian Kitchen, that have introduced the world to gender reveal lasagna.

Villa Italian Kitchen is a chain that was founded in New York City in 1964. The first ever store opened next to CBS / Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway and since then they expanded to nearly 250 locations worldwide.

It was reported at the beginning of 2019 that the franchise were to introduce Gender Reveal Lasagnas to their catering package, so what exactly does it entail? Well, lets discuss it now. The package includes a cheese lasagna that when you open it, the cheese in the interior will either be pink or blue. You also get garlic rolls and either a Caesar of Greek salad –  all for $139.99.

The website describes that:

“Once the new parents cut the lasagna and reveal either pink or blue dyed cheese, everyone in attendance can celebrate the families new addition with a hearty meal.”

The idea got slated on social media platforms such as Twitter with people stating that gender reveal had gone too far and there was anger of the fact that people would use Lasagna dyed as a way to reveal.
