OSCAR MAYER HOT DOG FLAVOURED ICE CREAM SANDWICH
There are always new and interesting items going onto the market in America and when I came across this one the other week I can say it is something that did not really appeal to me personally but may appeal to others so here we go. In August of last year, the company Oscar Mayer started to tease the fact that they were going to release an Ice cream sandwich called the Ice Dog.
The Ice Dog has a number of different elements – mustard flavoured gelato, candied Hot Dog Bits with Hot Dog Sweet Cream all put together in the middle of a cookie bun. They tested it out with members of the public in New York City on the 12th August all they had to do was DM the company on Twitter.
There have been reviews popping up online in regards to this product and they have been a bit mixed in regards to what is good with it and what is bad. The sweet cream was praised for not being too sweet, the candied bacon went well with in the mix but some people felt there wasn’t enough as they provided a salty flavour to it. The negative review came from the mustard ice cream as it is apparently too strong for the product. However, it may be strong, the critics are still saying you should try it in regardless.
