Due to the popularity of Question Roulette the past few years, I thought it was time to jump to another book with lots of questions. This time the book is called Music Madness Mayhem – the book covers everything from film, television, music, and much more! So every week we will be covering questions from the book until we run out! I am not going to number them this time as I am going to be doing the book in a random order!

Topic of the week – Online and Websites

This week we are looking at a number of different websites and social media platforms that I use. It is funny isn’t it how our searching habits have changed since it has become more portable and more accessible. When I was younger I used to love using the internet to read and search all about music news and also for playing games. With the introduction of game apps and social media platforms like Twitter it means that the way I use websites has no changed, I don’t tend to use them as much as what I once did. Here is a list of just a few of some of the websites I enjoy.

Websites

Kerrang! –  I have always been a fan of music website and Kerrang! is still a page that I look at to keep up to date with all the music news. Just like most website these days a lot of the time I access their website because of the news the promote on Social media but when I get time I always go to this site.

Sky News – I think in the world that we live in it is important to look at the news every day (and I work in news so I feel it is important for that reason as well). When I wake up in the morning I make sure that I look at the news, even if it is just the headlines just so I know what is happening in the world.

Ultimate Guitar – I would say out of all of the websites, I use this a hell of a lot as well, I play the guitar and the keyboard, the music sheets I use for learning new songs on the guitar but also use it for the chords for keyboard and then guess the right hand on the keys by playing by ear.

Cooking and Baking –  I love cooking and baking and for me there is nothing more relaxing then looking at recipes and unique ways of creating cakes. I don’t cook or bake as much as I want to but it is great fun to have inspiration saved so when I am in the baking mood there will be ideas there ready for me. Pinterest is a great place for this.

Animals and Nature – I really enjoy looking at posts and photos about animals and nature as we live in a wonderful world and there is so many unusual creatures out there that the internet has allowed our knowledge to expand. Also,

Comedy – I write a comedy website so it makes sense that I eat, live and breath reading about comedy. I really enjoy reading the latest news on social media, however, I also really enjoy reading articles as well. I also like quick wit, and really enjoy cartoons or short video posts that are related to comedy as well. There are some great ones out there.

Travel – I love reading about travelling because I am addicted to learning about the world and also finding new areas to go to. I adore reading articles as well as also looking at photos and videos as well.

Music – Just like comedy, I am addicted to music as well and I spend a lot of time reading about new acts, new music releases and general articles and debates. I try and keep myself really in the know when it comes to knowledge about music and read a lot of websites and social media posts to make sure I always know what is going on.
