Today we look at a Christmas game that was released on the Nintendo Wii – We Wish You A Merry Christmas. The computer game was released at the end of 2009, it was published and developed by Destineer.
The computer game is based around Santa Claus, Reindeers and Elves, instead of them focussing on getting the presents ready for Christmas they are instead ready to have fun in lots of mini games. The game is based around the North Pole and each of the mini games relates to a different part of the location.
On the Wii it allows you to get in the festive spirit by taking part in a number of different games such as writing a letter to Santa and building a bigger fire. There are 13 mini games in total and if you play it over the 25 days of christmas apparently it unlocked something new in the game everyday! The game follows the clock and date on the wii and apparently when the clock turned to the end of christmas the game locks everything away until next year.
The game was reviewed as being simple to play with basic graphics but it didn’t play in widescreen. The main reasons for playing this game was to feel festive not to really play for the graphics music or games.
