There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them on cheesy countdowns run by music channels over Christmas if you are lucky.

Be The First To Believe – A1 

This was a song that has a really catchy part to it and is also the debut single by British Norwegian Boyband A1. The single was released on the 21st June 1999, it was written by member Ben Adams and was released under the record label Epic.

The song did relatively well in the UK charts and went into number 6 and it also charted in Germany and Sweden. The single came from the debut album Here We Come. The song was one that I feel always get forgotten and I enjoy hearing this song when I do. I was never a huge fan of A1 but there were a few songs that I enjoyed and this is one of them.

The music video is pure nineties magic and it is always fun to watch – it brings back the nostalgia of the dance routines and synchronized moves. The opening dance moves at the beginning of the video always made me cringe and it still does to this day but it is good fun.
