Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.

Today we look at a dish that comes from the American Chain that is famously known for serving soft serve ice cream. They do however, serve a variety of fast food as well and today we will be looking at their side – the Cheese Curds.
The Cheese Curds cost $3.29 for the smallest size and according to the website they are ‘poppable pieces of cheese, friend until warm, melty and crisp.’ For one portion you are looking at 530 Calories per serving. That does depend on whether you get the regular or large portion.
There are many mix reviews online about these Cheese Curds – some praising how good they are (on one review website someone called them ‘sweet pillows of heavan’) and others commenting on how greasy they are.
