DEEP FRIED BEER

It is not unusual to hear of something being deep fried in America but today we head to the state of Texas where Deep Fried Beer was invented. So what exactly is this delicacy and how does it actually work?
The beer isn’t directly placed in the fryer – no, it needs to go into something so it stays whole and doesn’t leak away – so it is placed inside a dough that is similar to pretzels and then deep fried.
The delicacy was created to compete at the Texas State Fair – when it is complete it looks like Ravioli and it only takes 20 seconds to cook – that is so it remains alcoholic! The snack was sold at State Fairs for $5 and was ages at 21 years and up as it is an alcoholic beverage.
